Language Arts/Science: We will continue to discuss character traits. We will be working on informative writing for the next several weeks. We will work on the vowel team ea/ee in our word work. We will continue to learn about weather. Our focus will still be on the clouds and recording the weather in our journal. I will share the book Snowflake Bentley. We will share traits that made him a leader. We will read Hooway for Wodney Wat. This book will be discussed at our All School Meeting on Friday. The students will think about what it means to advocate for yourself. We will be looking for examples in the book that show Rodney advocating for himself.

Mathematics: We will be reviewing Chapter 10 this week. The students are working hard to use rounding to estimate. Students will be using estimation to check work to see if the answers are reasonable.
